our story

Foundry Baseball is Charlotte North Carolina’s newest baseball organization.

The Foundry was founded by Jason Bilous, who brings years of experience at the highest levels of the game to his mission of developing the next generation of athletes.

Jason’s baseball journey began in Delaware, where he played Little League for Brandywine Little League and nearly reached the Little League World Series. From there, he advanced to elite travel programs, competing with the Delaware Warriors and All-Star Baseball Academy. These experiences laid the foundation for a career defined by hard work, perseverance, and a passion for the game.

A standout athlete, Jason was throwing 97 mph in high school before undergoing Tommy John surgery his junior year. Despite the setback, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers out of high school but chose instead to further his development at Coastal Carolina University. That decision paid off—he was part of the Chanticleers’ historic run to win the 2016 College World Series National Championship.

In 2018, Jason was selected in the 13th round of the MLB Draft by the Chicago White Sox. Over the next five seasons, he advanced to Triple-A and earned a spot on the team’s 40-man roster. After being designated for assignment, he was claimed by the Cleveland Guardians, where he spent another season at the Triple-A level. Jason then extended his career by competing in independent baseball and the Mexican League before deciding to step away from playing.

While his playing career came to a close, his passion for baseball never faded. Jason discovered a new calling in coaching, driven by a desire to give back to the game and to ensure that young players avoid the challenges and setbacks he faced. Through Foundry Baseball, he is committed to providing elite instruction in every aspect of the game—pitching, hitting, fielding, and the mental side—while fostering an environment where players can thrive, develop, and pursue opportunities at the collegiate and professional levels.

With a wealth of knowledge and firsthand experience, Jason is dedicated to building not just strong athletes, but resilient individuals who love the game and are prepared for the next stage of their journey.
